Theme of Transgression in Kurt Vonnegut‘s Novel "Slaughterhouse-Five" The object of this Bachelor Thesis is to analyze Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse five using a notion of transgression expressed by literature critic Michail Bakhtin. In order to achieve the aim the following objectives have been set: 1) to present and analyze theoretical material concerning carnivalesque; 2) to analyze the novel Slaughterhouse five using the theory; 3) to understand the reason why Vonnegut breaks the boundaries of society.
